Sheriff's Report
Drunk in Public--May 6, 2 a.m. on Blaney Avenue. A sheriff's deputy noticed a man stumbling in the bushes. The man was having trouble walking and appeared extremely intoxicated, confused and disorientated. The deputy noticed a strong odor of alcohol. It took the man several minutes to remember his home address and he became confrontational when asked simple questions. The deputy determined that the man was unable to care for himself or others and arrested him for being drunk in public.
Grand Theft--May 2, 4:30 p.m. on Chardonnay court. A resident placed her Rolex watch, worth $4,000 on her bedside table. Two deliverymen installed a new mattress and box spring in her bedroom. When she went to put her watch on she noticed it missing. The watch did not turn up in a thorough search of her home.
