Architect speaks at library

Kathryn Mathewson, an award-winning landscape architect and current president of the National Landscape Association, will speak on "Solving Garden Problems: Before and After Designs" on May 30 at 10 a.m. at the Saratoga Community Library, 13650 Saratoga Ave.

The free slide program is the first of the library's five-week series, "Friday Morning Flowers."

Mathewson's work has been featured in Ortho and Sunset books and on Good Morning, America.
