Quito Village Murals

Muralist Tom Schwabenlander completes one of three murals at Quito Village Shopping Center. One of the murals is a wine country scene, one is a mountain scene and the third is of eucalyptus trees. Schwabenlander, an art teacher in San Francisco, was hired by a design company to spruce up the shopping center. Schwabenlander has also done murals at three private residences in San Francisco and at several restaurants.In addition to painting murals, Schwabenlander paints on canvas, board and paper using acrylic paints. His work is similar to that of the Impressionists, he said.
