Where are they now?

We did it before, and we're going to do it again. We're putting together a story to let folks in the area know where yesterday's local high school stars are today. Track and field meet

The annual family track and field meet will return to Saratoga on May 31, 8 a.m. The cost is $5 for individuals or $10 per family. Proceeds benefit Special Olympics, Saratoga High School and other charities.

Summer Girls' Basketball Clinic

A summer basketball clinic for girls in grades 7-12 will be held June 23-July 24, 1-3 p.m. each day (Monday through Thursday each week), in the gym at Saratoga High School. The cost is $150 per player.

Saratoga girls' varsity basketball head coach Bret Yeilding will serve as camp director with former top players assisting as clinic staff members.

San Jose Rhinos Golf Tourney

The San Jose Rhinos will host a celebrity golf tournament on June 11 at the Santa Clara Golf and Tennis Club. The entry fee is $150. For more information, call Jason at 287-4442.

Santa Clara Baseball School

Santa Clara University baseball coaches Mike Cummins and Lou Lucas will host their annual Santa Clara Baseball School with three sessions set for June and July for players ages 9-16. Call 267-3831 for information.

Session I runs from June 23-27, with Session II set for July 7-11. The camp covers fundamentals and hitting from 9 a.m.-noon, with a pitching session from 1-2:30 p.m. The cost is $100 for the morning session and $50 for the pitching session.

Session III will feature special hitting-only camps July 21-25, 9-10:15 a.m. and 10:30-11:45 a.m. The cost is $50 per session.
