Saratoga Badminton Summer Camp

International badminton player and coach Rose Lei will host a summer badminton camp at Saratoga High School.

The camp will feature divisions for beginners classes (July 6-9, 8:30-10:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.), intermediates (Section 1--June 14-25, 3:30-5:30 p.m.; Section 2--July 19-30, 8:30-10:30 a.m.) and advanced (Section 1--June 24-25, 5:30-7:30 p.m.; Section 2--July 19-30, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The cost is $80 for the beginners class and $150 for intermediate and advanced.

Lei was an international level badminton player for the world championship Chinese national team. She beat the women's singles world champion in a competition in Denmark.

Lei has coaching experience both in China and America. She has taught badminton at Colorado State University, in San Francisco and is now the coach at Saratoga High.
