SHERIFF'S REPORT

Stop sign, open container, no driver's license--May 17 on Paseo Prasada and Bucknall Avenue. The suspect was stopped seven feet after the limit line at a stop sign. The suspect did not have a valid driver's license or I.D. Both the driver and the passenger had an open container of beer.

Threatening a witness, challenge to a fight, assault with a dangerous weapon--May 15 between 8 p.m. and 8:10 p.m. on Paramount Drive. The suspects went to the victims' home armed with a wooden stick and challenged one victim to come outside. A fight ensued. After the suspects left, another victim received a phone call threatening the victims not to call the police.

Petty theft--May 8 between 11:30 a.m. and noon on Big Basin Way. Suspects removed two antique bowls from an antique shop.

Vandalism--between May 10 at 5 p.m. and May 11 at 3 p.m. at Congress Springs Park. Unknown vandal(s) painted the soundwalls in park with graffiti.

Grand theft, forgery--February 1996 to the present on La Paloma Avenue. The suspect, who is married to the victim's granddaughter, removed a checkbook and a handgun from the victim's home. The suspect cashed several checks by forging the victim's signature.

Possession of marijuana on school grounds--May 20 at 12:30 p.m on Prospect Avenue. The suspect was caught by a witness smoking marijuana on the ball field. The suspect had a wooden box containing marijuana.
