    De Anza Déjà Vu

    The De Anza Déjà Vu, an under-13 girls class 1 soccer team, is looking for players (born after July 31, 1988) for the coming season. Tryouts will be held June 5 and 7 for the team that plays the fall and spring seasons.

    Déjà Vu is a 2001 State Cup quarterfinalist, and in 2000 finished first in the Pleasanton Soccer City Warm-up Tournament, second in De Anza Cup tournament and in their league, and third in District Cup play.

    Holy City Race

    The annual Holy City Race returns to the small town in the Santa Cruz Mountains on June 17, 7:30 a.m. There is a $3 registration fee. Call 831.866.2365.

    Field Hockey Camp

    A beginning field hockey camp for girls in grades 6-9 will be held June 26-28, 9 a.m.-noon each day, at Del Mar High School. The cost is $35 per player, and equipment will be provided. Call 408.264.2373.

    Youth Soccer

    The South Bay Youth Soccer League will hold signups for the fall season on June 16, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at River Glen Park, corner of Pine and Bird avenues in Willow Glen.

    The league fields teams in the under-6 to under-14 divisions for boys and girls, and the emphasis is on family fun and skill development. There are free coaching clinics and a season-ending tournament and picnic.

    Youth Football

    The Campbell-Saratoga Wolverines will hold signups for youth football players and cheerleaders ages 8-14 on June 9 and 23, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Campbell Community Center. Coaches also needed. Call 408.265.4599.

    AYSO Soccer

    The Saratoga AYSO Region 27 is holding registration for players ages 5 and up interested in playing in the fall season. The registration fee is $100 per child and space is limited.

    Players must provide a birth certificate, a doctor's name and phone number, medical insurance information and the name, phone number and address of an emergency contact.
