    Cyclocross Champ

    On the racetrack, local athlete Rob 'Buckwheat' Meighan has a style all his own


    In the sport of cyclocross, 'Buckwheat' has been a notable nickname since 1986. Rob Meighan, a 37-year-old Monte Sereno native who graduated from Saratoga High School and lives in Los Gatos, competes world-wide; last year he raced in the cyclocross world championship, in Belgium. And while he may have lost some of the wildness he displayed when he first took to the sport, he has maintained the intensity.   More
