Hazel Williams
Saratoga resident Hazel Williams died May 28 at the age of 72.
Born Oct. 21, 1926, in San Diego, Williams was an active and licensed Realtor for the past 31 years, spending the last 11 years with Coldwell Banker. She was co-founder of Shelley Williams Associates Inc., a 20-year director of the California Association of Realtors, a past president of the Los Gatos- Saratoga Board of Realtors and a member of the Silicon Valley Board of Realtors and the Santa Clara Valley Board of Realtors.
Williams also belonged to many other organizations, including the Saratoga Federated Church and Women's Auxiliary, Saratoga Foothill Club, Los Gatos Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, San Jose Women's Club, Saratoga Golf and Country Club and West Valley Republican Women's Club. She was also a volunteer at the Saratoga Senior Center.
Survivors include her husband of more than 50 years, Shelley S. Williams Jr. of Saratoga; and daughter Christabel May Williams of Hollister.
Memorial services have been held, with interment at Madronia Cemetery, Saratoga. Donations may be made to the Palo Alto Medical Foundation for Research, 860 Bryant St., Palo Alto, 94301; to the Saratoga Federated Church, 14370 Saratoga Ave., Saratoga, 95070; or to a scholarship fund in care of the California Association of Realtors, 525 S. Virgil Ave., Los Angeles, 90020.
