SASCC swears in new officers
On May 26, the Saratoga Area Senior Coordinating Council hosted its 20th annual meeting and luncheon for the swearing in of new officers and directors. This year's group is as follows: Dane Christensen, president; Don Duffin, vice president, finance; Paul Bowlin, vice president, senior center; Carol Schmidt, vice president, adult care; Jo Trimble, development director; Harriett Tripp, recording secretary; Roy Cook, director-at-large for the senior center; Paul Clark, director-at-large for the adult center; and Albert Fenn, director-at-large.
At the luncheon, prepared by the senior center's "Chef Alice," Janet Cazel and Betty Feldheym each received the Saunders' Silver Service Award, which recognizes outstanding community service by local senior citizens.
