    Sheriff's Report

Vandalism--May 24, 1:30 p.m. on Bucknall Road. Suspects reportedly have been writing on the walls of the school in the neighborhood for the past month. The writing includes obscene language, swastikas and drawings of sexual organs. The vandalism reportedly is occurring on weekends and is being cleaned up during the week. The complainants have been told to save the drawings until photos can be taken.

Burglary--May 23, 2:10 p.m. on Wolfe Road. A suspect reportedly entered a department store on Wolfe Road and attempted to return a television purchased earlier in the day. Upon inspection, the sales associate determined the TV was not the same one purchased. The TV reportedly was older and used. The suspect was booked.

Residential burglary--May 23, 5:21 a.m. on Granite Way. An unknown suspect reportedly entered an unlocked vehicle in the driveway of a residence and removed cash and a wallet from the front seat. The suspect then entered the house through an unlocked back door and took cash from a purse on the kitchen table. The suspect entered the master bedroom and stole a wallet from the dresser top. The resident awoke to find the suspect bending over the dresser. The suspect fled through the same unsecured door.

Burglary/assault and battery--May 18, 12:33 p.m. on Clifden Way. A resident reportedly returned home from swimming and entered his home through the garage. While hanging his clothes in the bathroom, he reported hearing noise in the house. An unidentified man ran toward him, pushed him down and ran out the back door. The victim also heard a second suspect open the bedroom window and jump out. No forced entry was found, but open drawers and closets were discovered and $200 in cash was reported missing.
