Calling all artists of pastels
The Triton Museum of Art invites all California artists who work in pastels to participate in the Biennial Statewide Competition and Exhibition, "Pastels," which will be juried by John De Vincenzi, a world-renowned scholar, artist and professor emeritus of San Jose State University. Deadline for entries is Aug. 6.
The winning pastels will be exhibited at the Triton from Oct. 12 through Jan. 2. For a prospectus and entry form for the competition, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Triton Museum of Art, 1505 Warburton Ave., Santa Clara, 95050, Attn. Pastels. For more information, call 247-3754.
