Wanda McCoy Allinger
Wanda McCoy Allinger, 86, a Saratoga resident for over 50 years, died May 28. Born in Fall River Valley in northeastern California, she was an active volunteer and was involved in many community organizations and activities, including Saratoga First Presbyterian Church, Eastfield Ming Quong, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the PTA. She was recently honored by the Saratoga Rotary Club as Volunteer of the Year.
She lived her last 14 years at the Odd Fellows Home.
She is survived by two daughters, Mariella Allinger Fuqua and Audrey Allinger Adams; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held June 22 at 1 p.m. at Saratoga Presbyterian Church. Contributions can be made to the IOOF Home Building Fund or the American Cancer Society.
