Thomas and Rosemary Tisch of Saratoga announce the engagement of their daughter, Melinda Anne "Mindy" Tisch, to Bruno Kevin Ybarra, son of Bruno and Judy Ybarra of Austin, Texas.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Castilleja School, UCLA and the UC-San Diego Law School. She is a real estate attorney with Allen Matkins Lefcourt Gamble & Mallory in San Francisco.
Her fiancé is a graduate of the University of Texas. He is the label director for Naked Music, Inc. of New York and San Francisco.
They plan an August wedding.

Shannon Bodine and Steve Wayne were married on Nov. 11, in Monroe, Mich.
The bride is the daughter of Dean and Mary Bodine of Monroe, Mich. A graduate of Saint Mary Catholic High School in Monroe and Michigan State University, she is an engineering consultant with Torgon Industries in San Jose.
The groom is the son of Kenneth and Sue Ellen Wayne of Saratoga. A graduate of Saratoga High School and the University of Arizona, he is a sales engineer with I2 Technologies in Mountain View.
The couple resides in San Jose.
