Wildlife Center gets new home
The Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley has moved to a newer, larger home this month and is looking for a few good animal lovers to help in a variety of ways, including organizing and running the shelter and fostering needy animals in their homes.
The center, which for the past several years was located at 2650B Senter St. in San Jose, has moved to 3027 Penitencia Creek Road. Its old location will soon become the 14th hole of the Tuers-Capitol Golf Course. The center is the only rehabilitation and release facility that provided care for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife between Morgan Hill in the south and Palo Alto in the north.
