    Field Hockey Camp

    A beginning field hockey camp for girls in grades 6-9 will be held June 27-29, 9 a.m.-noon each day, at Del Mar High School. The cost is $30 per player and equipment will be provided. For more information, call 408.264.2373.

    Holy City Race

    The annual Holy City Race, a 9.1-mile run through the Santa Cruz Mountains, will be he on June 25, 7:30 a.m. The cost is $3 per runner. The event begins in Holy City on Old Santa Cruz Highway, opposite Redwood Estates. For more information, call 408.435.2820 or 408.866.2365.

    Softball Camp

    A softball camp for players of all ages and all skill levels will be held June 26-30 at Los Gatos High School. The cost is $104 per player. The camp will cover bunting, hitting, infield and outfield play and sliding. For information, call 408.354.8700, ext. 229.

    WVC Hoop Camp

    West Valley Community College will host a summer basketball camp June 26-30 for boys ages 8-16. Campers ages 13-16 will attend 9:10-11:10 a.m., and campers ages 8-12 will attend 11:20-1:20 p.m. The cost is $85 per player. For more information, call 408.741.2173 or 408.266.7197.

    Saratoga Soccer

    The Saratoga AYSO Region 27 soccer league, in cooperation with Major League Soccer, will host Major League Soccer Camps Aug. 7-11 and Aug. 21- 25, 9 a.m.-noon, at Congress Springs Park.

    The camps are recommended for all players in the under-6 to under-14 programs. The cost is $100 per child for each camp ($150 for one child for both camps).

    Youth Football

    Signups for the 2000 Los Gatos Pop Warner football season are now being accepted.

    Pop Warner offers programs for boys and girls ages 7-15 from Los Gatos and Saratoga. The organization will add a new instructional, non-competitive entry-level division this season for boys ages 7-9 weighing between 45 and 85 pounds.
