Girls nail second place
The Magic, a 12-year-old team in the Los Gatos-Saratoga Girls Fast Pitch Softball League, rolled to a second-place finish in a tournament played recently at the Twin Creeks Sports Complex. The girls finished second after playing eight games in two days. Eagles fly past Orioles
The Eagles pulled out a 3-1 victory over the Orioles to win the championship in the 12-and-under age group in the Los Gatos-Saratoga Girls Fast Pitch Softball League regular season. The league featured divisions for teams in the 8-and-under, 10-and-under, 12-and-under and 14-and-under age divisions, and 325 girls participated in the program this spring.
