    Sheriff's Report

    Vandalism--June 5, 10 a.m. on Sea Gull Way. A victim reported that his vehicle had been vandalized by a group of juveniles. Two of the youths were identified, but the man did not press charges.

    Vandalism--June 4, 10 p.m. on Sobey Road. Complainants reported an unknown suspect threw an orange through the window of the home. The impact reportedly broke the window and bent the aluminum grid inside. The victims found glass shards in the living room and scratches on the tables. No suspects were seen or heard.

    Grand theft--June 3, 6 p.m. in Summit Rock County Park. A hiker on vacation reported a bag missing that he had placed on top of his vehicle. The bag contained a Kodak camera, a checkbook and an address book. He was in Saratoga on vacation from Hawaii.

    Vandalism of lights--June 3, 10 p.m. on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Avenue. Unknown suspects reportedly threw rocks at the light fixtures of a facility under construction in a shopping center. Two lights, valued at $350, were damaged.

    Forgery--June 3, 12:20 p.m. on Belle Court. A victim reported that her bank sent new checks to her old address and that her former roommate forged a check for $500. The roommate admitted to the forgery, but remains at large.

    Vehicle burglary--June 2, 11:30 p.m. on Brookhaven Street. A complainant reported that an unknown suspect smashed the left passenger door window of his car and stole a laptop computer, valued at $4,150. No fingerprints were obtained due to the rain.
