School may be out, but that doesn't mean kids have stopped learning new skills and testing themselves against the competition. That's what our photographer discovered when he dropped by the Brookside Swim and Tennis Club on Cox Avenue in Saratoga.

Members of the club's various age-level swim teams are continuing to practice for upcoming meets with other clubs in the area, and they're more than happy that the weather has finally warmed up.

Teams compete from April through July. Brookside began as a residential club some 40 years ago. Much of Brookside's membership still consists of Saratogans in close proximity to the pool and tennis facilities.
