Saratoga NewsSports BriefsSkills Clinic The fourth annual Saratoga Skills Clinic will be held this summer for girls entering grades 7-12 this fall. Clinics will be held through July 23, 1-3 p.m. each Monday through Thursday. The cost is $175 per player. Saratoga girls' basketball head coach Bret Yeilding and his staff will conduct the the clinic, along with former top players. For more information, call Yeilding at 415/585-5883. Pop Warner Openings remain for players and cheerleaders for the fall season in the Los Gatos Pop Warner Football Association. The Los Gatos Panthers has openings for players ages 12-14 who weigh 120-145 pounds. For more information, call 270-1443. Girls ages 8-14 who live in the Los Gatos, Saratoga, Campbell and Willow Glen school districts can sign up to become cheerleaders in the fall season. For more information, call 353-8697. Youth Football The Campbell-Saratoga youth football organization is now holding signups for boys and girls ages 8-14 interested in playing football or becoming cheerleaders in the fall season. For more information, call Mike Skinner at 379-2806 for football or JoAnna LaMar at 374-0455 for cheerleading. Summer Camps Bellarmine will offer camps in five different sports this summer. Football camps are being offered July 6-10 for boys entering grade 9, and July 13-17 for boys entering grades 6-9. Sessions run from 1:30-4:15 p.m. and cost $135. The Bells will host one-week soccer camps July 6-10 and July 13-17, for boys and girls entering the grades 6-9, on the school's brand new soccer field. Camps run from 1:30-4:15 p.m. and cost $125. The water polo camp is open to boys and girls in grades 6-8, through July 23. Sessions run 1:30-3:30 p.m. and cost $350. The wrestling camp is set for July 6-10 for boys entering the grades 6-9. Sessions run from 1-3:15 p.m. and cost $95. Basketball camps include: June 29-July 2--boys and girls entering grades 6-8, $120; July 6-10--boys entering grades 7and 8, $120.
