Volleyball Camps
Los Gatos High School and the Vision Volleyball Club will co-host two girls youth volleyball camps this summer for players in grades 5-9.
Camps are slated for July 10-13, 1-3:30 p.m. each day, and Aug. 1-4, 1-3:30 p.m. each day. The cost is $95 per player for each session, and each camper will receive a T-shirt.
Veteran Los Gatos coach Joe Ripp will direct the camps. Ripp is in his 11th year as a girls volleyball coach and is entering his eighth season as the Gatos head coach. He is also the director of the Vision Volleyball Club and is a teacher at the high school.
Enrollment applications and camp fees are due by July 1. For more information, call Ripp at 408.264.7801.
RT Basketball
Registration for the RT Basketball summer program is now under way. Games, clinics and shooting contests will be conducted for boys and girls in grades 3-12 from July 2-Aug. 13. Saratoga Soccer
The Saratoga AYSO Region 27 soccer league, in cooperation with Major League Soccer, will host Major League Soccer Camps Aug. 7-11 and Aug. 21-25, 9 a.m.-noon, at Congress Springs Park.
The camps are recommended for all players in the under-6 to under-14 programs. The cost is $100 per child for each camp ($150 for one child for both camps). Each camper receives a T-shirt.

Youth Football
Signups for the 2000 Los Gatos Pop Warner football season are now being accepted.
Pop Warner offers programs for boys and girls ages 7-15 from Los Gatos and Saratoga. Football teams are grouped according to weight and age, and cheer squads are grouped by age.
The organization will add a new instructional, non-competitive entry-level division this season for boys ages 7-9 weighing between 45-85 pounds.
Practice for all teams begins in August.
