Sheriff's Report

Brandishing a Weapon--June 22, 5:10 p.m., on Big Basin Way. Deputies were called when a female suspect in a coffee shop began acting bizarre and intoxicated. The suspect began telling customers she could kill everyone there if she wished, then poured aftershave on the counter and on one employee. The suspect then became upset and told an employee that she wanted to slash the throat of a particular customer, who overheard the threat. The suspect then produced a knife from her purse and began waving it around. Deputies arrested the suspect, who attempted to kick out the windows of the patrol car once inside. The suspect was booked into the main jail.

Vandalism--June 21, 11:30 a.m., on Paseo Cerro. Deputies driving by in a patrol car noticed the driver's side window of the victim's car had been smashed. Deputies called the victim. Nothing was taken from the car.
