SHERIFF'S REPORT

Reckless Fire--Between 7:30 p.m. and 7:40 p.m., June 26 on Oak Sreet. Unknown suspect is believed to be responsible for starting a fire in an area of eucalyptus trees with heavy dried-tree debris. Fire burned approximately 20 inches in diameter.

Theft--Between 4:40 p.m. and 12 p.m., June 22 on Big Basin Way. Victim parked his vehicle in the parking lot behind his place of business. Upon driving home, he noticed both of his license plates missing. There are no suspects.

Peeping/Prowling--At 3:30 p.m., June 25 on Glen Arbor Court. Victim walked out her front door looking for the cat. Victim saw a man crouched in the planter under the bedroom window. She ran for help into house. After five minutes the intruder was gone. No suspects.

Grand Theft--Between 8 p.m. June 21, to 7:20 p.m. June 24 on Montalvo Heights Drive. Skylights, power tools and other construction materials were taken after a suspect entered a construction site and pried open the lid to a tool box. Total loss $6,000.

Possession of Marijuana--At 1:30 p.m., June 27, on Bucknell Avenue. Suspect was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for license lamp violation. A search was conducted. Two clear bags containing 7.8 grams of a green vegetable matter, believed to be marijuana, were found.

Battery--At 11:15, June 29, on Oak Street. During a party attended mostly by teenagers, a fistfight broke out. The suspect struck the victim in the face, breaking the victim's nose. The suspect ran but was later found by deputies.

Possession of Narcotics--After midnight, June 30, on Fruitvale Avenue. Suspect was stopped for making an illegal U-turn and exhibited symptoms of being under the influence of a narcotic. A car search produced a clear capsule containing a usable amount of cocaine.
