SHERIFF'S REPORT

Shoplifting--10:25, July 5, at Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. Two men entered the market. While one created a distraction by asking the clerk about soft drinks, the other left through a side door with a package of meat concealed under his jacket.

Grand Theft, Firearms--Noon, July 1, on Mount Eden. Two revolvers, a Smith and Wesson and a Colt 38, were reported missing from a bedroom trunk. The victim said they could have been missing for a year. Value was estimated at $700.

Annoying/Harassing Phone Calls--Between 8 a.m. and 5:25 p.m., July 3, at Paseo Presada. The victim received repeated harassing phone calls in which the suspect used swear words toward the victim's elderly mother and victim.

Vandalism--Between 2:30 p.m. and 6 a.m., June 28-July 1, Argonaut School. Unknown vandals broke numerous glass bottles and eggs on the playground and parking lot, as well as a wooden picnic bench. No arrests were made.
