    Emily Chu, 7, creates wire sculptures in the 3-D art class run by the Recreation Department. Because of lack of space in the community center, the class is being conducted in the foyer of the Civic Center Theater. In the long term, major renovations to the community center will bring about needed space. One of the short-term fixes recently approved by the city council is a portable classroom which will take overflow classes such as this one.
