Boyden, Schwendinger

Richard and Patricia Schwendinger of Saratoga announce the engagement of their daughter, Lynda, to Michael Boyden, son of Blaine and Nancy Boyden of Marin.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Lynbrook High School and Cal-Poly, San Luis Obispo. She is a buyer for Nordstrom in San Francisco.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Redwood High School in Marin and UCLA. He is a management consultant with Arthur Andersen Consulting in San Francisco.

They plan a November 1998 wedding.

Hogan, Fenchel

Lon Fenchel of Los Gatos and Bonn Fenchel of Los Gatos announce the engagement of their daughter, Lynley Kerr Fenchel, to James Alfred Hogan Jr., son of James Alfred and Janet Hogan of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Saratoga High School and UC-Santa Barbara.

Her fiancé is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor's and M.B.A. degree. He is vice president and general manager of Zitel Corporation in Fremont.

They plan an October 1998 wedding.
