Golf Tourney

The second annual Lynbrook Vikings Football Golf Tournament, featuring a post-tourney barbecue and a special Lynbrook Hall of Fame induction, will be held Aug. 8, with a noon registration and 1 p.m. shotgun start at the Delaveaga Golf Course in Santa Cruz.

The entry fee of $85 for the four-man scramble tournament includes a golf cart and the dinner to follow the tourney. Hall of Fame ceremonies will be held at the dinner.

Camp with Pros

South Bay Baseball will present its annual Camp with the Pros summer baseball skills camp for players ages 7-15. The camp will be held Aug. 4-8 at John Muir Middle School, Branham Lane near Almaden Expressway, and fees are $99.

Former San Francisco Giants pitcher Roger Samuels is the camp director, and Mark Cummins, the head coach at Live Oak High School and a former professional infielder, is the director of instruction.

The camp will cover baseball fundamentals and will feature daily drills and scrimmages. Players will be grouped by age and ability levels. For more information, call 264-9233.

Youth Football

The Campbell-Saratoga Youth Football organization is currently holding signups for young people interested in playing football or becoming cheerleaders for the fall season. The league is also looking for coaches. For more information, pro-spective football players should call 327-9510 and cheerleaders should call 298-7830.

Coaches needed

Los Gatos athletic director Butch Cattolico is looking for coaches for the girls' softball team and the girls' and boys' swimming teams for the 1998 spring season. Those interested should call Cattolico at 354-2730, ext. 274.
