Nicholas and Lavonne Marafino of Saratoga announce the engagement of daughter Marianne Marafino to Kevin Johnson of San Jose.
The couple's Aug. 31 wedding will be held at Villa Montalvo.
Marafino attended Saratoga schools and graduated from Humboldt State University. She received a master's degree in social work from San Jose State University and is employed by The Bridge in Morgan Hill.
Johnson is employed by IBM.
