Cynthia Shih, a senior at Saratoga High School, was presented with the Saratoga Foothill Club History Scholarship Award at the annual club luncheon. With Cynthia are (from left) her father, Mien Shih; Chuck Newport, Saratoga High School social studies chairman; Lois Woodworth, Foothill Club award presenter; and Cynthia's mother, Nancy Shih. Cynthia is salutatorian of her class and will attend Stanford University in the fall. An engraved bowl with her name will be on display at the high school.
