A Distinguished Student

Christine Geranios of Saratoga has been invited into membership of the American Academy of Distinguished Students. Invitations are extended only to students who rank at the top of their class and are recommended by faculty.

Geranios is a candidate for the doctor of philosophy degree in higher education administration at Arizona State University. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Association for the Study of Higher Education. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California, Loyola University of Chicago and Saratoga High School.

Mulert makes dean's list

Gregory Laurence Mulert has been named to the dean's list at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont. With his freshman year behind him, he will now take a two-year leave of absence to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Upon his return, he intends to continue his studies as a computer science major.

Worster graduates from Wellesley

Sara Elizabeth Worster was awarded a bachelor of arts degree at Wellesley College June 3, when writer, film director and producer Nora Ephron addressed the graduating class at the college's 118th commencement.

Sara, the daughter of Dr. Bruce and Susan Worster of Saratoga, majored in international relations and economics and plans to work for 3Com Corp. as a marketing specialist. As an undergraduate, she was active in student government, intramural sports and drama, and she spent a semester in Brussels, Belgium.
