    Sheriff's Report

    Burglary--July 18, 7 a.m. on Big Basin Way. An unknown suspect entered the victim's room and removed a cell phone. No suspects were named.

    Petty theft--July 16, 4 p.m. on Sobey Meadows. Between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., an unknown suspect stole an envelope containing a check for $546 out of the victim's mailbox. The victim later found the empty envelope lying near the mailbox.

    Petty Theft--July 16, 4:15 p.m. on Prospect Road. A suspect put gas into his vehicle, did not pay and left the location. Authorities identified the suspect and contacted him following the incident.

    Trespassing, obstructing, and delaying peace officer--July 15, 11:45 a.m. on Prospect Road. School officials contacted authorities to request assistance with two men, who were not students, who refused to leave the campus. Deputies asked the men to leave and they refused. When approached by deputies and again asked to leave, the men ignored the request and walked away. Both men were arrested and booked.

    Burglary--July 14, 9 a.m. on Jaccaranda Court. A resident discovered that his garage had been burglarized and two of his vehicles had been broken into. The victim also found that a duffel bag containing $2,500 to $3,000 of fishing equipment had been stolen. Other items also had been taken. The suspects reportedly entered the garage through an unlocked back door.

    Auto vandalism--July 14, 2 p.m. on Cox Avenue. A victim parked her car in a lot and returned after two hours of shopping to find large scratches on both sides of her car.

    Attempted burglary--July 6, 6:30 a.m. on Saratoga Creek Drive. Unknown subjects entered a neighborhood residence while it was unoccupied. No items were taken.

    Theft--June 23, 10 p.m. on Big Basin Way. A man put a small canvas bag down while he was eating and walked away, forgetting the bag. When he returned, the bag was missing.
