Seville Properties moves to Saratoga

Seville Properties has opened a new office at 12200 Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. The real estate firm has remodeled a 5,000-square-foot office building to accommodate 35 real estate agents, plus assistants and staff.

Many of Seville's current agents will work in the new Saratoga location. In addition, Seville is continuing to interview other experienced Saratoga agents.

Manager Kirk Mahncke said, "Seville Properties has maintained a presence in the Los Gatos- Saratoga market since its founding in 1979, and the opening of Highway 85 has made a Saratoga location even more attractive."

Founded in 1979 by Judy Bogard, Charlene Geers and Alice Nuzzo, Seville Properties currently employs more than 100 brokers and agents who specialize in marketing houses in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. Other offices are in Menlo Park, Los Altos and Cupertino.

Mahncke has been active in the real estate industry for 20 years. He is a director of the Pen West Board of Realtors and a member of the San Jose Board of Realtors. He joined Seville Properties in 1993 after having owned and operated Foothill Properties and Development Co., a Los Altos firm specializing in residential brokerage and development.

Mahncke, 44, received a bachelor's degree in marketing from the Michigan State School of Business.

"We're excited about being a part of the Saratoga community," co-owner Judy Bogard said.
