Soccer Camp
Former national soccer player Sandra Asimos will head up the camp staff at the Saratoga Soccer Camp to be held Aug. 12-15 at Saratoga High School. The camp runs Monday through Thursday,
9 a.m.-noon each day.
Asimos is a three-time All-American who currently coaches the women's soccer team at Sacramento State University. She is an Olympic Development regional coach and an Olympic Development state coach.
The camp fee is $80 per player. Specialized instruction is also available, and the cost is $25 for two sessions.

All-comers Meets
Los Gatos will host a series of all-comers track and field meets through Aug. 15 at the high school track.
Meets are slated for Aug. 8 and 15. Field events get under way at 5:30 p.m. and running events begin at 6 p.m. The entry fee is $3 per event for athletes in the open, high school, girls/women, and masters divisions. The cost for spectators is $2.

Youth Ice Hockey
The Santa Clara Valley Hockey Association will hold skills clinics and scrimmages throughout the summer at Iceoplex in Fremont and at the Eastridge Ice Arena.
Ice hockey skills clinics are helds Sundays through the end of August at Iceoplex. Mites and squirts are on the ice from 10:30-11:30 a.m. with the pee wees, bantams and midgets in action from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
Hockey scrimmages for mites through midgets are held Saturdays, 7:30-9 a.m., at Eastridge and Thursdays, 7:45-9 p.m., at Iceoplex.

Soccer Signups
Fall registration is being accepted for the Saratoga AYSO youth soccer program. The registration fee is $80 per player, and parents must accept a volunteer job in the program. New players must provide a birth certificate, and all players must provide the names and phone numbers of their doctors and emergency contacts.
