Triton show includes local artists

The works of two Saratoga artists--Maxine Solomon and Kay Duffy--are included in Triton Museum of Art's Biennial Statewide Watercolor Exhibition opening Aug. 31. The show contains 78 watercolors by artists from throughout California.

The watercolors were selected by Gerald Brommer, a nationally known artist, author, teacher and juror.

Other local artists included in the show, which runs through Oct. 31, are Jean Warren of Los Gatos and William E. Cunningham of Monte Sereno.

Triton Museum is located at 1505 Warburton Ave., Santa Clara. Hours are Tue., 10 a.m.-9 p.m., and Wed.- Sun., 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is free.
