Longtime Saratoga residents John and Barbara Power celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary April 22 at a party hosted by their five children: Susan, John Jr., Tracy, Kevin and Elizabeth; and their spouses and significant others. The couple has lived in Saratoga for the past 30 years. John is a nuclear engineering safety analysis consultant, formerly a nuclear engineer with EPRI for 10 years and General Electric for 20 years. Barbara is the parish secretary at Church of the Ascension in Saratoga, where she has worked for 25 years.
