    Sheriff's Report

    Vandalism--July 28, 6:30 a.m. on Kerwin Ranch Court. The victim went outside and saw tennis shoe prints on her car. The prints extended from the hood to the trunk. The roof had buckled and was dented in several places.

    Possession of Marijuana--July 28, 2:40 a.m. on Dorene Court. The officer determined that two suspects possessed less than one ounce of marijuana, and cited and released them.

    Grand Theft--July 24, 6:30 p.m. on Cox Avenue. At 11:15 a.m., the victim parked her car in a lot and left the car unlocked. She left her $40 black leather pack-style purse in the car for about 20 minutes. Later, she realized the purse was missing and contacted her credit card companies to cancel the cards. The companies told her two of the cards had been used. No one saw or heard any suspects.

    Found Property--July 23, 12:30 p.m. on Arroyo de Arguello. The reporting party found a jacket near the Wardell Road and Arroyo de Arguello intersection and turned it in to the substation. The jacket was placed in the evidence room at the substation.

    Lost License Plate--July 23, 9:15 a.m. on Paul Avenue. The reporting party said her front license plate fell off her car somewhere in the city before July 21 at 6 p.m. She wanted a report taken so she could get a new set of plates from the Department of Motor Vehicles.

    Vandalism--July 23, 8 a.m. on Lynde Avenue. At 7 a.m., the reporting party found a broken window and two pine cones inside a mobile building at Foothill Elementary School. There are no suspects.
