    All-Comer Meets

Los Gatos will host the 22nd annual series of summer All-Comer Track and Field meets on the high school track.

Meets are slated for Thursday evenings (Aug. 9 and 16). Pole vault competition begins at 5 p.m. with the rest of the field events getting under way at 5:30 p.m. Track events begin at 6 p.m.

Competition will be in the following divisions: open men and women, high school boys and girls, masters men and women, and age group for kids in most events.

The entry fee is $3 for unlimited events, and the cost is $2 for spectators. Proceeds go towards the upkeep and resurfacing cost of the Los Gatos track.

    LG Football Reunion

Los Gatos is looking for former football players who participated in the high school program to attend a special alumni weekend on Sept. 14.

Former players will receive a free ticket to that Friday night game against St. Francis, and the Wildcats will announce the names of the alumni in attendance. The game will be followed by an informal reception in the gym, and there will be an auction held that weekend.

The alumni weekend will serve as a fundraising event for the high school, but it will also provide an opportunity for former Wildcats to rekindle old friendships and share memories of their experiences under the lights at Helm Field.

The school is currently asking former players to send their name, address and year of graduation (not football year) to Butch Cattolico. Los Gatos High School, 20 High School Court, Los Gatos, Calif. 95030 or email to bbcatt@lghs.net.
