    Sheriff's Report

    Vandalism--Aug. 1, 6:30 p.m. on Portos Drive. A deputy who was responding to a noise complaint discovered fresh graffiti similar to that seen in the Argonaut Shopping Center. The deputy collected four cans of spray paint at the scene and photographed the graffiti. An employee at Longs Drugs recalled selling the cans of paint and gave the deputy suspect descriptions.

    Grand Theft--July 31, 10:20 a.m. on Saratoga-Los Gatos Road. A person gained entrance to a vehicle through an unlocked door and took a CD player, stereo and damaged the car's wiring and antennae. The total damage to the vehicle was valued at $1,300. There are no suspects.

    Exhibition of Speed--July 25, 9:55 a.m. on Saratoga Avenue. A person was showing off his muscle car to a prospective buyer and did not realize a sheriff's deputy was watching. He was cited and released.
