School signs have to come down Signs posted on the fence near the Prospect High School coming-events board on the corner of Lawrence Expressway and Prospect Road are a no-no and must come down, according to city officials. The signs, which usually advertise flea markets and events for local organizations, have been the subject of a number of complaints from residents. Community Development Director James Walgren, in a letter to the Saratoga City Council, stated that signage related to activities at Prospect High School is not subject to local jurisdiction, but other signs are. Walgren said organizations that have posted signs on the high school fence will be asked to remove the signs or face citations and have the signs removed by the city.
