Students named to dean's honor roll

Four Saratogans were recently named to the dean's honor roll at the University of the Pacific in Stockton: seniors Jeffrey Kwong and Kristen Taglia, and juniors Jason Reyda and Alison Yeung. All four attained a grade- point average of 3.5 or higher to earn honors.

Cook named to honor list

Catherine Cook was recently named to the dean's list at Smith College in Northampton, Mass. Cook, who graduated from Lynbrook High School, had to earn a grade-point average of 3.33 or above to make the list. She is majoring in French studies.

Saratoga alumnus passes bar exam

Dean Rossi, son of Ron and Dawne Rossi, recently passed the California bar exam and has joined the law firm of Cotchett & Pitre in Burlingame. Rossi, a 1987 Saratoga High School graduate, received his juris doctor degree from Whittier Law School in Los Angeles last December. After college, he worked for the U.S. Embassy in Singapore.

Saratogan named to SCU honor roll

Caroline M. Polhemus, daughter of Rick and Barbara Polhemus, was recently named to the dean's honor roll at Santa Clara University for the 1996-97 academic year. Polhemus is among the top 10 percent of students at SCU to receive the honor. She is enrolled in the Leavey School of Business and Administration.

Saratoga High alumnus graduates with honors

Jonathan Choslovsky recently graduated cum laude from the faculty of law at American University in Washington, D.C. Choslovsky, a 1989 Saratoga High School graduate, will be a staff attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission in New York City.

Saratogan makes the dean's list

Nathan Johnson recently attained dean's list status at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vt., for the spring semester. Johnson received the college's second-highest honor by obtaining a grade-point average of 3.3 or higher.
