Stephanie DeBella and Michael Saso were married on June 24, at St. Joseph of Cupertino Church.
The bride is the daughter of Glenn and Sharon DeBella of Saratoga. A graduate of Archbishop Mitty High School and the University of California, Riverside, she is the manager of marketing communications at Guidant Corp. in Santa Clara.
The groom is the son of David and Joanne Saso of San Jose. A graduate of Branham High School, San Jose State University and Embry Riddle University in Florida, he is the business development manager with Lucent Technologies in Milpitas.

Sidney and June Hurst of Las Vegas announce the engagement of their daughter, Alicia Hurst, to Jared Jones, son of Morris and Teri Jones of Saratoga.
The bride-to-be is a junior at Brigham Young University, where she is studying child development and human relations.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Saratoga High School. He is a senior at Brigham Young University, where he is studying electrical engineering. He also works for Intel.
They plan an Aug. 19 wedding in Salt Lake City.

Former Saratogans Jamchid and Barbara Tavangar, now of San Diego announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Jasmine Tavangar, to Scott Daniel Sullivan, son of Jim Sullivan of Los Gatos and Sue Sullivan of Saratoga.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Saratoga High School and UC-Santa Cruz. She is a recruiter with the Armada Group in Santa Cruz.
Her fiancé is a graduate of St. Francis High School and California State University, Chico. He is a contractor with Green Again Landscaping in Redwood City.
They plan a September wedding.

Henry and Joan Barnes of San Marcos announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Barnes, to Chris Becker, son of Fred and Judi Becker of Saratoga.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of San Marcos High School and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She is an elementary school teacher with the Santa Maria School District.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Saratoga High School and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He is a senior software test engineer with Veritas Software in San Luis Obispo.
They plan a November wedding.
