    Remember When?

Summer seemed like it might go on forever

It was back in June when the Recreation Department staged a barbecue at Wildwood Park to mark the end of the first camp program of the summer. Youngsters cooked hot dogs for themselves and their parents who were special guests.

Who would have thought that in such a short time, summer's end would be quickly approaching and school days would be just around the corner?

The Recreation Department's summer programs were wildly successful, with more than 2,200 young people participating.

Summer Memories: More photos from the Recreation Department's barbecue.
