    Soccer's not what it used to be

    A generation or so ago, moms and dads were desperately trying to learn the rules of soccer while coaching youngsters in the sport popular throughout the world, but just being introduced in this country. Things have changed--as anyone who watched the Women's World Cup can testify. Last week, Saratoga youngsters participated in the San Jose Clash Youth Soccer camps. When our photographer showed up, he discovered an intent group of youngsters--including Stephanie Borsun, 7, bringing the ball toward the goal at Congress Springs Park. Those providing the training were professional players from the United Kingdom.
