Donald F. Baroni
Donald F. Baroni, 61, a football coach and a teacher for 33 years at Saratoga High School, died Aug. 14 of heart failure in Santa Rosa, where he was visiting.
Friends are invited to a memorial service Thu., Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. at
the Saratoga-Cupertino Funeral Home, 12341 Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road.
Baroni was the father of Denise Whitelaw of Colorado Springs; Frank Baroni of Redwood Valley, Calif.; Mike Baroni of Healdsburg; Matt Baroni of San Diego; and Steve Baroni of Sutter, Calif. He had 12 grandchildren.
Baroni was born in San Francisco. He attended Sacred Heart High School in San Francisco and began teaching and coaching there, after graduating from the University of Idaho.
He came to Saratoga High School shortly after the school opened and he retired eight years ago.In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the Lucile Salter Packard Children's Hospital, 725 Welch Road, Palo Alto, 94304.
