Burglary, Arson--11 p.m., Aug. 8 on Montrose Avenue. The suspect broke into a residence and then ransacked it before opening the home's safe. On the way out, the suspect set the house on fire and fled the scene in the victim's car, which was later found on fire in a nearby shopping center.
Lewd Act--5:10 p.m., Aug. 7 on Saratoga Avenue at the Santa Clara County Library. A suspect was seen masturbating between book stacks by other library patrons. The suspect left the scene before police arrived.
