Saratogan elected VP of UC-Berkeley's ASUC
Saratoga resident Jennifer Chang was elected vice president of UC-Berkeley's Associated Students of the University of California during the recent ASUC elections.
Chang captured one of five executive seats and was the only woman elected. She has previously served as one of the university's 20 elected senators and as the ASUC external affairs public relations director.
On top of being a third-year student at UC-Berkeley, Chang will be in charge of distributing $10,000 in mini-grants to educational groups, expanding a student-faculty mentorship program and the production of a course and professor evaluation program on campus.
