    Richard Forte of Saratoga and Elvie Scott of Monte Sereno announce the engagement of their daughter, Joelle L. Forte, to Bret L. Casady, son of Kent and Jane Casady of San Diego.

    The bride-to-be attended Los Gatos High School and is a graduate of Menlo High School and the University of the Pacific. She is a wardrobe stylist in Los Angeles, where she works in commercials.

    Her fiancé is a graduate of Point Loma High School and UCLA. He works in architectural design and restoration of homes, clubs and restaurants in Los Angeles.

    They plan an October wedding.
