Free and reduced-price lunch policy announced

The Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint High School District has announced its policy for providing free and reduced-price meals for children being served under the National School Lunch Program. Each school and/or the central office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed.

Children who are members of food-stamp households or CalWORKS assistance units or who receive benefits from the Food Distribution Program on Indian reservations are automatically eligible regardless of the income of the household in which they reside. Eligibility for a foster child is based on the child's income.
