    Sheriff's Report

    Harassing phone calls/tampering with vehicle--Aug. 24, 5:50 p.m. on Saratoga-Los Gatos Road. A female subject reported she had been receiving harassing phone calls since June from her ex-boyfriend. The woman filed a restraining order against the man, who recently called to tell her he had gone through her truck without her permission to look for his property.

    Burglary--Aug. 24, 4:15 p.m. on Saratoga Creek Road. A woman reported a ring had been missing from her home since Aug. 3. She said she last saw it on the counter in her house and believes someone entered the home and took the ring. The subject said her husband sometimes leaves the door open when he goes for a walk. She has searched for the ring for weeks and said she never misplaces objects.

    Auto burgalry--Aug. 24, 3 a.m. on Woodside Drive. Unknown suspects broke the rear driver-side window of the subject's car and stole a briefcase, a leather notepad and a pocket calculator. Other items in the car were not disturbed.

    Auto burglary--Aug. 24, 3:30 a.m. on Mellowood Drive. Unknown suspects broke the rear driver-side window of the subject's car and stole a computer case containing a computer power cord and a cell-phone power cord. The suspect removed three pieces of clothing from the vehicle, but discarded them in the street next to the vehicle. No other items in the vehicle were disturbed.
