Volunteer recognized for years of service

Katherine Murray Barnes was recently honored by Family Service Mid-Peninsula for three years of service as a clinical intern.

Barnes was named Outstanding Program Volunteer at a reception at the Stanford Park Hotel in Palo Alto on July 1.

Family Service Mid-Peninsula is a nonprofit agency that provides counseling and therapy to individuals in northern Santa Clara and southern San Mateo counties.

Real estate agent earns recognition

William Gorman took top honors among Coldwell Banker sales associates in Santa Clara County during the second quarter of 1997, announced Larry Knapp, president of Coldwell Banker, Northern California.

Gorman was the No. 1 producer in Santa Clara County in 1995 and sells residential properties in the West Valley.
